The GP are classified as follows:

galvanized gas-water pipes;

galvanized electric-welded pipes;

galvanized shaped (the cross-section other than round (circular)) tubes.

Common GP diam (mm): 17 – 159 (17,0; 21,3; 26,8; 33,5; 42,3; 48,0; 60,0;

75,5; 88,5; 101,3; 114

Nominal bore, (mm): 10, 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 90, 100, 150.

Wall thickness, (mm): for light GP 2 – 4; for normal ones 2,2 – 4,5; for reinforced ones 4,5 – 5.

In GP production the following high-quality steel grades are used (local scale):

08kp, 08ps, 10, 15, 15kp, 15ps, 20, 20kp, 20ps, St1sp, St1ps, St2sp, St2ps, St3kp, St3ps, St3sp.

There are 5 major techniques of galvanizing (zinc plating):

galvanic zinc plating; hot galvanizing; cold galvanizing; thermo-diffusion galvanizing; electrolytic galvanizing.

2nd and 4th methods are most common and widely used.

All the companies included in the list are either a first-hand manufacturer or a recognized big trader capable to export GP (see the word document attached).

The prices are subject to a specific order depending on its volume, mix (range), terms and conditions of delivery, method of payment etc; and can be itemized upon the specific order.

In a very rough figures the prices wobble between UAH 11 500-14 000/per metric tonne.

To our estimates, the presented list of GP-suppliers apparently covers 80-85% of the local market on the whole, all of those in the list are ready to export (based on our first negotiations with them).

Since GP in Ukraine is subject to the state export quota, please be aware of that when placing your orders.

Ukrainian GP are subject to requirements of the local State Standard “GOST 3262-75 10704-80”.
