• Look up and down. Always be safe around power lines.• Don’t plant trees near power lines. Research the height of your desired tree at maturity and plant

your trees at least as far away from power lines as they will stand at full height.

• Check on planting restrictions near roads, and call Dig-Safe at 811 to ensure there are no buried lines or pipes.
