What is CICO – Blue Devil Club?
• Focuses on students who are not responding to primary, preventive school-wide interventions.
• Focuses on students who are at risk for developing serious or chronic problem behavior (not already there!)
• Provides daily support and monitoring for groups of students.
• Systematized self-monitoring for a large number of students at one time.
• Allows for a strong family component.
• Core principles include increased predictability, consistency in routine and positive adult interaction.
What is the “Middle Part” of the Triangle?
• ~15% of students
• Multiple referrals (2-5)
• At-risk for developing more severe/chronic patterns of problem behaviors

• We currently have 21 students on Blue Devil Club.
• 11 – 6th graders
• 5 – 7th graders
• 5 – 8th graders
• 6 – Athletes
• 6 – Special Education Students
• 6 – Asked to join
What a day on the Blue Devil Club looks like..
• Pick up Blue Devil Club sheet at the coke machine at 8:05 from the guidance counselor.
• Take Blue Devil Club sheet to every class including lunch.
• Check Out at 3:10 in the lobby with the guidance counselor.
• Take home sheet and return it to school the next day.

• Students get to eat with a friend outside or inside (weather permitting) with 2 faculty members listening to music, playing board games, and/or watching TV.
