This immaculate hut is painted, like its neighbours, the standard‘beach hut green and red’ - but you can paint the doors whichevercolour you choose! Its doors are currently cappuccino, and thisworks brilliantly against some of the more vibrant and citrus coloursaround it - but Brewers in Hove are more than happy to help youpick out another colour, and when you buy the green and red withthem, they’ll give you a litre of door paint free! The doors can bepainted whatever colour you like and the also open outwards sothey act as a windbreak in more blustery moments! If you need anyfuture repairs there are lots of local tradesmen who provide aspecific ‘beach hut’ service too.

There’s a shower and a water tap nearby, so great after a dip in thesea, and to fill the kettle for a warming cuppa, and there are twotoilets for use just 100m either way down the beach. There are alsotwo cafes, and Morocco’s - famed for its ice cream and fish platters,is just a minute down the road.If you don’t live within walking distance of the beach, you can parkvery reasonably in Third Avenue, and there are several local barsand restaurants on Church Road to be enjoyed in the evening ifyou are making a day/night of it.

It’s a very sociable affair with neighbours often coming together forbarbecues, and it’s a great place to host a party, or just sit andwatch the eclectic mix of people in Brighton stroll on by. The i360 iswithin an easy walk, as is the pier for extra entertainment, but thisend of the beach has such a chilled atmosphere, you’ll probablywant to stay put, soaking up the sun and contemplating whatflavour ice cream to have next!
