Leslie & Chris Gunter are the owners of Gunter Custom Homes and Design. "At Gunter

dream. I come from a long line of contractors & my father began teaching me everything he
knew as soon as I was able to retain it. Fast forward about 18 years and here we are. I owe
my love for building & all of the skills that I developed over the years to him. My desire to
oversee the details myself & the push for quality craftsmanship can make for some long hours
from time to time though. Thankfully, I married a woman who loves being a part of the
process from start to finish as much as I do. God knows what he is doing & really is the
ultimate matchmaker! I am a family man who understands the importance of the word
home; not just as a structure but as an idea. You’ve heard of the saying, home is where the
heart is? Well, we aren’t just building walls & hanging doors. We are setting the stage for
future Thanksgiving meals, play dates with friends, Christmas mornings gathered around the

The Community: Beacon Hill is a planned development community with 49 home
sites on near acre lots, common areas with fishing pond and picnic tables, all situated in
beautiful rolling hills.
The Location: Between Highway 150 and North Church Street; 15-20 minutes from
downtown Greensboro; 5-10 minutes from closest schools; 5 minutes to new shopping
center; 15 minutes from Haw River State Park. Entrances on Church Street and Highway
150.
The Amenities: Beacon Hill will have a pool, bath house, tennis courts, playground
area and street lights.
Home Designs: Local custom home builders build a wide variety of homes of your
choice in Beacon Hill. The single family community will be all brick homes, starting from
the $350,000’s up.
Schools: New State of the Art Northern Elementary, Northern Middle, and Northern
Senior High schools.
HOA Dues: $600/year (includes pool, tennis courts, street lights, and common areas)
