Sonshine Tour Home Concert Help us welcome home our senior high Sonshine Youth Choir from tour at a concert on Sunday, July 27 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Choir tours are important events in the lives of our youth and God works through the power of teenagers singing. Come as they share the love of Jesus through music and word.

Fall 2014 Disciple Bible Study Classes Now Open for Registration Disciple Bible Study is an intensive, disciplined Bible study. Groups of 12-14 participants are led by 1-2 facilitators and meet weekly for 2.5 hours for 34 weeks. Disciple I, the prerequisite for all other Disciple Bible Studies, covers the entire Biblical story. Subsequent studies take Disciple graduates deeper into selected portions of Scripture. Where’s the timeline? You may have noticed that the BUMC historical timeline has been removed from the wall near the elevator in the narthex. We’re excited to share that it will be part of a new archival and historical display that is being planned for the Turner Discipleship building. It is being carefully stored until plans are final for the historical display.

Christmas in July: Back to School Supplies We are off to a great start to reach our goal of 650 supply bags for 650 students in our surrounding area by August 3rd! Please stop by one of our three trees located in the narthex, outside the chapel, and in the lobby to pick up an ornament and the coordinating supply list. Completed supply bags, once labeled, can be returned to the church and placed in the red bins near the trees. Support Harvest Hands at The Nashville Sounds July 26thThrough the month of July, Harvest Hands is the Nashville Sounds’ Charity of the Month. All ticket sales for the July 26th game purchased through the link found at our website: www.harvesthandscdc.com, will benefit Harvest Hands! At the July 26th game the Sounds players will be wearing a jersey designed by us and each jersey will be auctioned off during the game. The winners of each jersey will have a chance to meet the players and receive the jersey right from them after the game!
