In the book of Daniel we can spot several interesting things. The details in descriptions are very interesting. Let’s look at several aspects:

Four beasts coming out of GREAT SEA [rab yam]

I think if we get to know what the GREAT SEA is it will help us to see something! From the book of Daniel and Ezekiel we can notice it’s the Mediterranean Sea! What does it say to us? If we look at the map, ALL beastly kingdoms are connected to the Mediterranean Sea!

Is not that interesting? We see that they were somehow ‘manufactured’ by so called four winds of heaven. Strove= giyach=burst forth, break forth

Can this be that there is a city under the Mediterranean Sea? If we have a look to the beliefs of f.e Romans or Greeks we will find their worshipped the beings from the Mediterranean Sea!

Daniel 11:4

“1:2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

We can see the ‘force ’ behind ALL those beastly kingdoms! Influence, strength and when the kingdom is defeated, it ‘comes back’ to its ‘spiritual ’ roots!

Don’t we see the 10 kings again? Is not that interesting?

Finally, how to get revelation from God according to the book of Daniel? Today we have many who did not pray, but surely are experts, at least in their own opinion.

Daniel received ‘vision’ from God, and… hey he did not say: I know what it means! Ha? According to the book of Daniel he proceeded to few things:

• Trying to find meaning to the vision.• Understanding by the books of the Bible• Prayer [tef-il-law]• Supplication [takh-an-oon]• Fasting [tsome]• Spending time one-on-one with God!• Daniel lifted up “prayer …to understand [saw-kal' ] the Truth[eh'-meth]”! Dan 9:13

God gave him ‘skill[saw-kal'- prudence] and understanding[bee-naw- discernment]’! I think that the key, not only to the deeper life with Jesus, but to really know what is going on and what will surely happen!
