Beija-Flor (pronounced beige-ah-floor) denim is created by women, for women.

Inspired by the figure-flattering designs of Brazil, the mother-daughter team of Kathy Moça and Emilie Whitaker created

Beija-Flor’s line of jeans to work with a woman’s curves rather than against them. Our slimming silhouettes and extreme

comfort fits are designed to make women look and feel their best. By fusing innovative design, eco-friendly material and

practical luxury, Beija-Flor is redefining denim, one woman at a time.

OUR COMMITMENT

The hummingbird that graces every pair of jeans we design, symbolizes our on-going commitment to fostering

environmental and social responsibility. We forge collaborative partnerships with some of Brazil's most environmentally

conscious and socially minded suppliers to deliver only the highest quality fair-labor and eco-friendly denim. Our ISO

Certified manufacturers, including Brazil's largest water recycler, are dedicated to eliminating waste, creating socially

progressive working conditions and nurturing long-term sustainable growth.

Our supremely soft ecochic jeans are the first ever premium denim to be made with Repreve®,

100% recycled fiber. Each pair of jeans is made from eight recycled plastic water bottles and

100% BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) cotton. Using Repreve® conserves, on average, half a gallon

of gasoline for every pound of yarn produced.
