BELIEVE IN YOURSELF One cup of coffee can change your life forever. Three years ago, I had just moved to Chicago to be with my husband, pursue acting and teach yoga. I met my friend and sponsor, ERVP Roni Orlina, in an acting class. When she e-mailed me a couple of weeks later to ask me to have coffee with her and hear about Arbonne, I agreed. I was intrigued by the quality of the products, and I thought I might make a new friend in this new city. I could tell you that I knew instantly Arbonne was the answer for my future, but the truth is my decision took some time. I was skeptical about network marketing, I didn’t know anyone in Chicago, and I was too busy. Sound familiar? There were lots of reasons to say no, but with Arbonne, it’s all about your Why . Why did I say yes? The truth is, I loved teaching yoga and being an actress, but my hus- band was working long hours in the restaurant business, and we were on opposite schedules. We were trading time for money, and while it was working for now … we wanted more. With Arbonne, I could keep doing what I loved and build for the future. I decided to go for it. I jumped in with both feet and launched my business in October of 2006. I didn’t have a warm market in Chicago; since I was new to the city, I only knew a handful of people here, but I was determined to find others who saw the benefits of Arbonne. I put products in everyone’s hands, asked for coffee dates and shared the business with everyone I met. You don’t have to be an expert at Arbonne to be successful. You need enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn. The best part is, you can earn while you learn! I decided that quitting was not an option, but I had to get out of my own way, and learn the skills and mindset that would take me to the top. One cup of coffee can change your life forever.

There were lots of reasons to say no, but with Arbonne, it’s all about your Why. I decided to go for it. I jumped in with both feet and launched my business in October of 2006. success strategy:

entrepreneur. I had to become a Regional Vice President on the inside before I could achieve it on the outside.

Like most people at the age of 30, it never occurred to me that I’d need to use my Plan B. Then one morning, my 32-year-old husband had a cardiac arrest while running on the treadmill. He was in a coma and spent five days in the ICU, recovering against alarming odds. Because of Arbonne, I was able to put my life and business on hold to stay by his side. I didn’t have to ask anyone for time off or worry about job security. Most importantly, because I had built a team and a network of loyal Arbonne Clients, I still got a great commission check that month!

In the months that followed, I knew it was time to take my business to the next level. I turned my greatest excuses into my strongest Why. I adopted a “no matter what” attitude and together with my incredible team, I promoted to Regional Vice President five months later.

So, three years from that first cup of coffee with Roni, my world is very different. I have worked hard and built an amazing team of fellow entre-preneurs. I took my husband on the all-expense-paid ASAP trip, and I have the keys to my white Mercedes-Benz. I know when I go to work each morning that I am building a strong financial base for my family. Those are the perks of being an RVP, but the most meaningful changes are on the inside. The personal growth I’ve experienced and the new vision I have for our future is priceless.

My Why has changed now, too. I want to bring my husband home from his restaurant career and let him choose when and how to work. As we start our family, I want us both to be present for our children.

I do Arbonne for myself and my amazing husband. I do Arbonne for our future child. I do Arbonne so that we can travel the world. I do Arbonne for my shoe and bag collection. I do Arbonne so I can laugh with the girls. I do Arbonne for my team and for the many men and women who are waiting to hear from me and have this opportunity change their lives.

To my husband, Tony: Thank you for being my biggest supporter. From the moment I said I wanted to try this, you have been by my side. You don’t always tell me what I want to hear, but you always tell me what I need to hear. You are my Why, my soul mate and my best friend.

Aine with her mom, dM Patricia Rock, and her new Mercedes gLK 350.

To my mom, dM Patricia Rock: You taught me to be generous of spirit, courageous of heart and to always dream big! You are an ENVP — just keep dreaming and sharing your dreams with others.

To my sponsor, ERVP Roni Orlina: You are more than just my business partner — you are a true friend.

To my upline: Thank you for your leadership, vision and integrity. You paved the way and showed me what was possible. I often borrowed your belief while I was working on mine.

To my team: Thank you for your friendship, courage and willingness to take a chance on your dreams! I can’t wait to hand you the keys to your Mercedes-Benz!
