Acid Rain

pH is used to measure the acidity of a substance.

Pure water has a pH of 7.

As pH decreases, it becomes increasingly acidic.

Effect on Ecosystems

Acid rain can cause the soil to become acidic, harming any plants that absorb nutrients from the soil.

POP QUIZ

You have 10 minutes to look over your notes from this week (everything about air pollution).

When 10 minutes are up, put everything away and we will take a pop quiz.

GROUP QUIZ

Before taking the quiz, you will have 10 minutes to discuss the quiz with your group.

Rules:1)Do not get up or talk to another group2)Do not write anything down
