Meet the Director:
Mr. Nelson joined the Ben Lippen family in 2019 after teaching for several years in Charlotte, NC. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Cedarville University (go Yellow Jackets!) and is pursuing a Master of Music degree in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (go Spartans!). Some of Mr. Nelson’s greatest life experiences have come through choir- including singing at Carnegie Hall, Disney World, and the Vatican in Rome. His favorite part of teaching is building relationships with the students and having lots of fun! When he’s not teaching or singing, Mr. Nelson enjoys drinking coffee, riding his bike, or watching the Steelers dominate the AFC North.

How To Join: Watch for an email at the end of May from Mr. Corey Thompson (Middle School Principal) and Mrs. Amanda Harmon (Academic Counselor). This email will include a link to sign up for next year’s classes. When you get to the Fine Arts portion, select “Choir.”
