Profile: Andrew ArmourFounder, Consultant, Director - Benchstone Ltd.e. [email protected] m. 07971 231 025

For over twenty years I have sourced, created and delivered innovative marketing collaborations, campaigns and specialist

project teams in the UK and internationally. I founded Benchstone Limited in 2011 to focus on helping brands and

organisations maximise the ‘collaborative advantage’. I was initially a long-term consultant for BT WiFi Network sponsorships

at the London 2012 Olympics and then went on to build marketing programmes and specialist workshops for companies such

as Powwownow, The AA, 4CM and IP Integration. I have also been commissioned to build seminars for Henley Management

School and Krems University in Vienna and run marketing workshops for; AXA Insurance, The Association of Strategic

Alliances, The Talent Management Association, City University London (including ICLCity 2014 Innovation Conference) . I

am currently also a part-time Course Tutor and module leader for the BA Music Business at Tech Music School and I am an

Associate of Versatile Connections, a digital media investor and business incubator. I write regularly on marketing, innovation

and collaboration issues through my blog www.andrewarmour.com - and my work has been published and syndicated within

the sites of Powwownow, TrinityP3 and Innovation Excellence. In addition I am also a peer reviewer for the International

Journal of Innovation Management (IJIM) on the topics of collaboration, partnerships and innovation.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

My early career saw me managing music and entertainment licensing projects for PRS For Music - within Channel 4 broadcast

shows and then internationally for Television New Zealand (including Team New Zealand - America’s Cup) and Walt Disney

Films. I went on to become Senior Account Director of a large promotional agency leading consumer campaigns for high

profile brands such as Nestle and Kleenex. More recently I was Head of Content Partnerships at Yell.com - responsible for

sponsorships, digital content & editorial teams, marketing partnerships, commissioning and content contracts.

I was educated at Bournemouth University, Auckland University Business School (Law, followed by a Post-Graduate Diploma

in Business Marketing) and Henley Management School. I am now a Fellow of The RSA.

“Andrew ran a Collaboration Café as part of our recent Talent Management Association conference. He has also been selected to run a similar

workshop for our Senior Management team at Selecta at our Spring conference because of this experience. Andrew was a highly energetic and

engaging facilitator and his input around collaboration was well researched and pertinent. I fully endorse Andrew as an excellent facilitator, a serious

conversation starter and breath of fresh air.” Sharon Hitch, Talent Management Association and Head of L&D, Selecta. Mobile: 07834 893 164

“Andrew ran a Collaboration Café for us recently - and it was a great success. Whilst we are in the collaboration and communication industry, our

business still suffers from silos and not necessarily engaging and communicating with colleagues in different departments. In addition we had a

number of key issues to discuss and resolve. Firstly to get people interacting with colleagues across the business and secondly to start thinking

about and discussing some key business issues. It was a great success! The buzz in the room was almost deafening as the Café injects energy and

discussion into the group. Even better, from the various discussions we generated actionable insights to help us tackle some of the big issues. I

highly recommend using Andrew’s Collaboration Café as a great way of engaging and energising teams and businesses around key issues.” -

Robert Gorby, Proposition Development Director, Powwownow. Mobile: 07739 340 129

“ I thought I'd express my own personal thanks and congratulations for leading such a thought provoking, stimulating, vibrant and rewarding

exercise. Everyone I spoke to was very complementary.” – Maurizio Fantato, Account Director, 4CM Communications

“I worked with Andrew for several years building a very successful content partnership between Yell and Transport for London. Andrew is a great

partnership manager and can take a large amount of the credit for the many positive outcomes that have arisen from the two organisations working

together. His energy is infectious; he has a real understanding of what makes a winning partnership; and he has a talent for bringing the right people

together and facilitating the conversation to allow good things to happen. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrew.” Neal Bingham, Digital

Strategy, Transport For London / London Underground (TFL).

Andrew’s skill in identifying customers has been so very helpful as this was not something I was familiar with. We defined the scope of our offering,

and belief in the projects he handles. Please do not hesitate in calling me.”- Helen Gammons, Programme Director, Henley Business School, MBA
