TIMBA receives the Interior Innovation Award 2015:Design award for Bene’s newest products
Wien/Waidhofen an der Ybbs, 27/01/2015: The new products TIMBA Table and TIMBA Stool by Bene received the Interior Innovation Award 2015 from the German Council for Design at the imm Cologne furniture show. PearsonLloyd's TIMBA design adds new vigour to the office and provides the best possible conditions for creative cooperation and dynamic team work. The design awards underlines the high design quality of Bene products.

The German Design Council in Cologne awarded its very first Interior Innovation Award in 2003, and today it is one of the most renowned design awards in the furniture industry. The award celebrates the best in innovative performance in all product areas. The judging panel, which is made up of leading international representatives from the design community, evaluated 500 submissions and selects only the best products as “Interior Innovation Award” winners. All awarded products were displayed in Cologne at imm cologne, the world’s largest furniture show 19th and 25th January 2015 in a special exhibition - that included Bene’s new TIMBA Table and TIMBA Stool products.
Wood - A cosy touch for the officeWood is TIMBA's characteristic design feature. The natural material provides value, stability and warmth. It creates a cosy atmosphere and forms a counterpoint to the cool, modular severity of standard office furniture. The range's name is phonetically inspired the word "timber".

TIMBA - Focal point for the teamCooperation is the word of the hour. Staff move between meeting rooms, communication zones and areas, team and project work, workshops and desks. TIMBA, the new furniture range by Bene, has been developed specifically to create a team hub in modern office landscapes. "Team work and meetings in offices are no longer events for which you have to go to a specific room. They can also happen without notice, quickly and informally," explains designer Tom Lloyd. "TIMBA has been developed for open cooperation and fills the gap between informal communication and the formal setting of conventional meeting rooms."
