Please try to use the master logo in full colour if you can. If there is some restriction, for example, limited colour printing, then you can use the logo in a single colour or reversed out of a solid colour in white.

Beneficiary Basic elements logo misuse
The logotype has been specially created so please don’t redraw or alter it at all. These examples are to show you how misusing the logo can affect the impact of the brand.
Please remember to make sure the logotype is:
1. Always in its correct colours (see page 3) or blue, black, grey
or reversed out in white
2. Never rotated
3. Never distorted
4. Never recreated in a different typeface
5. Never used with a different strapline
6. Never used with a different format
of the distributor logo
7. Shown with enough contrast between it and the background
8. Used with the elements in the right place
9. Never separated from the distributor logo
10. Always protected by the exclusion zone

Beneficiary Basic elements dual branding
Sometimes you might need to show that other organisations are associated with the Good Causes beneficiary logo. This diagram will help you get the relationship between the logos right. Please make sure the logo you’re adding is the same size as the Arts Council of Northern Ireland logo. It should never be taller than the crossed fingers symbol.

Beneficiary applications internet site
The beneficiary logo should be prominent on the website, for example, you could show it on the homepage. The logo can appear in the logo banner on the same level as the site heading. Please check the crossed fingers symbol is at least 9mm in height so clarity is not lost.

Please think about each application in turn. If there is room to use the standard version of the logo, please do. It should be fine for things like signage.
You can also etch the logo onto glass or metal if you think that a printed logo isn’t appropriate.

Beneficiary high impact logo use
The following pages are to help you use the logo on beneficiary applications when you really need to make an impact.

Beneficiary high impact logo format & minimum size
This high impact format is to be used only for times when you need to make a big impact. These tend to be when the logo needs to be at very large or very small sizes. For example, you might need to produce hoardings for a building or put the logo on a badge or pen. Another use could be when the logo will be moving, for example on a television picture.

Promotions
If you want to display the logo on promotional applications, please use the high impact format. People will have such a short time to look at it, for example in a fleeting television shot, that it’s important to make an impression quickly.
Please use the high impact version for hoardings, banners and backdrops and so on.
