• Like the PMP, Candidates are granted a one-yeareligibility period in which to pass the multiple-choice examination.

• During the eligibility period, the candidate maytake the multiple-choice exam up to threetimes.

• Candidates should gauge their time carefully soas to leave enough time during the eligibility toretake the exam, if needed.

Multi-rater Assessment (MRA)

• The candidate must complete a self-assessment

• The candidate must provide 12 reference contacts tobe reviewers

• Reviewers evaluate the candidate’s competence toperform tasks relevant to program management

• Reviewers must complete the evaluation during athree-week period

• If needed, the Credential Associate may work with thecandidate to reach additional reviewers

If the candidate fails the MRA?

• Candidate must wait one year before participating in theMRA again.

• Candidates will receive a detailed report reflecting howthey evaluated themselves and a combined report showinghow their reviewers evaluated them.

• The candidate can use this report as a professionaldevelopment tool prior to applying for reassessment.

• After the one-year waiting period, the candidate will receivean e-mail from PMI providing a six-month window duringwhich the candidate may apply for the Multi-raterReassessment without having to reapply for the credential.

• The candidate may use the same or chose new reviewers.
