The Mobile App Development Certificate is intended for individuals who are seeking to expand their skills to include the development of iOS iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad/Android applications. This certificate program will cover the development of a mobile application including design, coding, testing, and debugging in a hands-on environment.
The app development certificate is designed and offered in collaboration with the faculty of the Malik and Seeme Hasan School of Business.

Faculty Credentials
Dr. Juyun (Joey) Cho is an associate professor of Computer Information Systems in the Hasan School of Business at Colorado State University-Pueblo. He received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Computer Engineering in Korea along with his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Utah State University. Prior to joining his Ph.D. program, he worked in industry for 10 years as a software engineer and project manager, completing numerous small and large-scale projects related to the public safety solutions, e-commerce systems, and computer simulated systems for mining, petroleum drilling, and maritime cranes. His research interests and expertise are on the Scrum method in agile software development, e-commerce systems, and web-based technologies.

Prerequisite Knowledge
A successful student would mostly likely
have a programming and/or Information
Technology (IT) background. Some
Object Oriented Programming
experience is highly recommended.

The Mobile App Certificate
Each course includes five, 180-minute evening sessions at the CSU-Pueblo Tower location in Colorado Springs. Dates and times are available at the registration website above. Completion of each course carries two Continuing Education Units from Colorado State University-Pueblo Extended Studies. Upon completion of all four courses in the mobile app development series, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Mobile App Development.
