#TMD2020: How it WorksThe 2020 Melt Down Deluxe Edition is a partnership between the YCAP Food Bank and 68 participating restaurants and businesses throughout Yamhill County. This passport will serve as your guide over the next 29 days.In these pages, you will find each restaurant and bonus stop listed with their location, days and hours of availability, their sandwich or “cheese-related” item description, and the price of their sandwich or item. Note: Some restaurants may have longer operating hours but only offer their sandwich at certain times.Your goal is to get as many stamps or initials as you can in your passport (February 1-29), earning prizes along the way. Pick up prizes at designated “Swag Stations”. Find out where by joining The Melt Down Facebook group. At the end of the event, mail your “Entry Form” pages with at least 15 stamps/initials to be entered to win a “Major Award.” Additionally, post and share your sandwiches or cheese related items on The Melt Down Facebook group or on Food for Thought on Instagram; make sure to include hashtags #tmd2020 and #restaurantname to be eligible for the daily #hashtaggiveaway drawings. Each participating location has agreed to donate $2 per sandwich or a percentage of sales for their “cheese-related” item to the YCAP Food Bank. They are divided into “Divisions”- Slice, Wedge, Wheel, Who Moved My Cheese?, Vin et Fromage, and Bonus Stop. Each division will have a “Biggest Cheese” award winner based on sandwich sales. There will be an overall “Biggest Cheese Grand Champion” based on the “People’s Choice” votes and the total percentages of all sandwiches sold.A special thank you to our “Event and Matching Sponsors” and to the “Friends of the Melt Down” who have provided all the fun swag and prizes for The 2020 Melt Down Deluxe Edition!
