You prayed. You supported. You helped to make the Medical Mission Trip to islands in the Sundarbans in West Bengal, India a success.
We send you a huge thank you and hugs.
There were four moving parts to this project, which will help to sustain the work after we left.
1) Medical Clinics were set up in three villages where people are too poor to travel to find medical care. The team treated and dispensed prescribed medications for 200 people a day who lined up early to see the physicians, nurses and chiropractor.

Bengal Medical Mission Trip Jan 28 - Feb 13, 2016
All the workers and volunteers in West Bengal have asked Global Outreach Missions to return. Plans are underway to return in February of 2017 with Medical and Vision Clinics.
Your prayers are valued as we: use lessons learned from this first trip to plan an effective return visit and recruit enthusiastic candidates that will be as energetic and cohesive as the pioneer team!

2) Vision Clinic - the team tested vision and distributed over 300 glasses that were transported
from Canada.
3) The Leaders of villages received Solar Radios that receive Christian programs and have the scriptures in Bengali and Hindi
4) Children's Ministry had the kids laughing and participating in games, crafts, Bible stories , songs and health teaching.
