Bennett Steiner
Bennett is a sophomore from Phoenix, Arizona pursuing a degree in economics
and computer information systems from Arizona State University. He currently
serves as the chief financial officer of the Arizona State University chapter of
Let America vote, and coaches speech and debate at Phoenix Country Day
School. His academic interests include international economics, justice studies,
data analytics, and public service. As an Eagle Scout, he believes that the needs
of the less fortunate should be prioritized. In his spare time, Bennett enjoys
cooking, hiking, and playing tabletop games.

Kyle Slaughter
Kyle Slaughter is junior from Houston, Texas who is majoring in public service and
public policy with a focus in emergency management and homeland security. His
career interests include law enforcement, criminal justice, public policy, and
foreign affairs. After graduating from Arizona State, Kyle wants to attend The Bush
School of Government and Public Service and get his masters in national security
and diplomacy. In his free time, Kyle enjoys watching and playing sports as well as
hanging out with friends and family.

John Lake
John is currently a junior pursuing a degree in political science. He is interested
public policy development, human rights protection, and democracy expansion. He
has interned for multiple campaigns in Arizona as well as the Arizona AFL-CIO.
Ultimately, his main goal is to better the lives of people through good policy and
good government both in the United States and abroad, and after graduation he
will be focusing his career on furthering that end.

Maya Perez
Maya Perez is currently studying political science and global studies with a minor in
media analysis and two certificates in international studies and political
entrepreneurship through leadership. She worked for advocacy groups like,
Arizona Advocacy Network, as well as foreign relations organizations such as the
Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations, and hopes to continue advocating and
fighting for citizen rights locally, nationally, and globally in the future. She decided
to study these specifically, because she is interested in becoming an ambassador
or foreign policy advisor. She is very passionate about international affairs and sees
herself going to law school or pursuing a master’s in the study.

Kim Alexis Adversario
Kim Alexis is a political science major with minors in business and Spanish. She is
interested in protecting human rights both domestically and internationally. After
having been to ten different countries, she has become passionate for learning
about the diverse communities around the world. At Arizona State University, she
has been heavily involved in Barrett, the Honors College through recruitment,
student engagement, and assistant teaching. She was recently elected as a Barrett
Senator for Undergraduate Student Government but had to resign due to this
amazing opportunity in the McCain Institute Internship Program. She is also a
member of Kappa Alpha Theta and enjoys participating in philanthropies and
service opportunities. Kim Alexis hopes to one day become a Supreme Court
Justice.

Ryan Madsen
Ryan Madsen is a senior at Arizona State University working towards a Bachelor of
Science in Political Science and minors in American History and global studies. He
is also working towards several academic certificates in international studies and
political history, as well as leadership and political entrepreneurship. Ryan has been
involved in several clubs and academic organizations ranging from focuses on
political theory, history or just singing with friends. His academic interests include
international relations, ethics, human rights, and national security. Outside of
school and work Ryan enjoys traveling, watching all sorts of movies, attending
concerts, reading or just spending time with friends and family. In the future Ryan
plans on pursuing a master’s or a law degree in order to increase his understanding
of the law and the process of policy creation and implementation.
