What’s been happening at OSHC Hi OSHC Families,
This week the Educators and children have been busy, creative and
productive making, shaping and doing; origami houses, face painting,
sewing Heart Cushions, library, BUSH OSHC, wheels, drawing,
gymnastics, making taco’s, playing cricket, tennis, soccer, hall games,
and lots more. Meg even dropped in for her monthly sessions.
The OSHC Staff undertook a required training session on Protective
Care, which covers legislation around child safety, mandatory
reporting and recognizing signs of abuse.
We also have a young volunteer (an ex-student of BEPS) Yr 8 Duke
of Edinburgh Award student spending time with us each Wednesday;
On the whole another great week…..

NEW CHILDCARE PACKAGE
Commences July 2018
Are you ready?
The Australian Government is rolling out a new childcare Package;
Jobs for families to be implemented from July 2018. This package will replace the
current Childcare Assistance Scheme, including the childcare benefit and child-
care rebate. The new package will make the childcare system more flexible, more
accessible, more affordable and targeted to those who need it most. Families are
strongly encouraged to familiarise themselves with this new initiative and the new
requirements for families and services well before it rolls out in July 2018.
