Cyberbully• What is a cyberbully?

o A cyberbully is someone who uses technology to harass, embarrass, intimidate, or stalk someone else.

• What might cyberbullying look like?o vulgar and argumentative messages o cruel, offensive, and insulting remarks o threats and false promises o hate speech and slurs

Some Statistics• 43% of teens have been

victims of cyberbullying.

• Cyberbullying begins as early as the 2nd grade for some children.

• Most victims know the person bothering them.

• Only 10% of bullying victims tell their parents.
