• The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger
Tor in German) is one of the oldest gates
in Berlin and one of the main symbols of
the city.
• It is composed of twelve columns arranged
in two rows of six. At the top of the door is
the bronze statue of a chariot driven by the
goddess of peace in victory. The door for
26 m, 65.5 m wide and 11 m deep.
• Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom in German)
is a temple of the Evangelical Church
located in Berlin, Germany.
• The cover faces the garden Lustgarten
and the Royal Palace in Berlin (Berliner
Stadtschloss). It measures 114 meters
long, 73 wide and 116 high.
• It was thought that such a large Protestant
church counteract the influence of the
Basilica of St. Peter's.
