The modern youth hostel in Cochem is an excellent base from which to enjoy shopping in the historic town center and the new Moselle sports center with its high-tech sprung floors. In and around the hostel itself you can play pool, pinball, soccer, table tennis and a variety of ball sports. Relax on the sun terrace and enjoy the fantastic view of the 1,000-year-old Reichsburg castle.

Wannsee and Grunewald are as much a part of the image of Berlin as the Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz. The 2.7 km² wide lake in the southwest of Berlin is one of the most popular local recreation areas of Berliners. Various artists have included Lake Wannsee in their work which has made it a renowned location throughout Germany and beyond its borders. A trip to the lake with its long beaches is a must for visitors to Berlin. The camp house is located directly on Lake Wannsee in the Grunewald Forest. It is in walking distance of the train station S-Nikolassee where the group can take a 15 minute train ride to the city center. A perfect place for fun, education and relaxation combined.
