DESCRIPTION
Besagroup is present in Romania since 2007 by Hidroplasto. Along the years it established more branches in the most important regions of Romania. The Company activates in all constructions sectors, especially in the constructions of bridges, tunnels and in civil and industrial constructions, but also in the segment of special constructions.

• 1971 BESAPLAST as core company was founded by CEO Franjo Kovac and was the first company to join the BESAGROUP, which is a head organization to lead the brands of its portfolio
• 1998 DEFLEX joined the group as an expert of joint profile manufacturer
• 2003 GUMBA was aquired to extend the groups competence into bridge-bearings
• 2005 integration of LESCHUPLAST GLT into BESAGROUP
• 2006 CARASYN decided to join the group
• 2007 take-over of ROPLASTO to complete the product range and to generate necessary further production capacities
• Today BESAGROUP is worldwide operating with partners in many countries

Company profile
• Foundation of BESAPLAST in 1971 and establishment as a successful plastic manufactuer with two main product groups; waterstops and special purpose profiles.
• In particular the combination of waterstops and expansion joints has proven as a break-through for the construction sector and enables BESAPLAST to offer intersection pieces and complete waterstop systems.
• Moreover BESAPLAST has long term experience with the production of special purpose profiles which can be manufactured according to customers individual specifications. The use of up-to-date technology and the inhouse production of the necessary tooling meet all customer requirements.
• In 1997 BESAPLAST established a new administration and production facilities to increase production and storage capacities to be ready for the challenges of the future.
• BESAPLAST currently has around 8.000 different kinds of special purpose profiles available.
