clean and one modern bed/bath with fabulous roof terrace. This last trip we booked the Fiesole CAV,

and this was even nicer. Both are on the Via Vigna Vecchia. Windows on Italy do a great job of keeping the

apartments clean and are very helpful. There is also a very informative booklet

that gives all info needed for a great stay. We will stay in one of their apartments on our next visit, without

“We were more than pleased with the beautiful apt we rented. We stayed in a three bedroom 2.5 bath apartment across the

Arno. The decor was tasteful and comfortable, and found all of the amenities we could have asked for in perfect working

order, including: washer/dryer, a fully supplied kitchen, all linens, and stereo. The apartment was immaculately maintained. One

afternoon we came back and interrupted the maid cleaning the apartment. With a wine store down the street, grocery store

around the corner, and several great restaurants in the area, it was great value for money as we could stay in or dine out as we

chose. Far less expensive and more comfortable than a hotel would have been for the five of us. It was in easy walking distance from the Museum of Science, Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, and numerous other sites. The train station was a bit further away, but

not an unmanageable walk.”

“I’ve rented the Brunelleschi every year for 3 years now, and it’struly become our home when we visit Firenze. I was never intoapartment rentals before and always preferred 4-5 star hotels,

but after my first experience with this property and the wonderfulstaff of Windows on Italy, I’ve become a convert. As accurate

as the description & photos of this property are, we could neverimagine the magnificence and how well stocked the Brunelleschi

was. The Brunelleschi is perfectly located in Santa Croce closeto everything and we found flower shops, grocery stores,

a delicatesens and to top it all, my favorite gelato is right nextdoor at Vivoli! The experience made us feel as if we were at home

in our own apartment in Firenze! I recommend the Brunelleschihighly, but if you don’t need 4 bedrooms, our other favorite unit

in the Palazzo Salviati is the “Fiesole”.”
