Day 3 : Gangtok This morning proceed on an excursionto Baba
Mandir, dedicated to a oldsoldier of Indian Army, later
visitpicturesque Tsomgo lake, a holy lake
worshipped by the Sikkims. Enjoy anoptional yak ride around the
lake. Also
visit to to Tashi View Point whichoffers a spectacular view of
themountains, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman
Tok. Later proceed on a sightseeingtour of Gangtok - visit Do
DrulChortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology,Institute of
Handicrafts andHandlooms, Enchay Monastery, FlowerMonastery and
Rumtek Monastery,
which is the largest in Sikkim and is themain seat of the Karma
Kagyu lineage.Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Gangtok Lachung(117Kms/5 6 Hrs)
Today you will drive to Lachung (smallpass) situated at an
height of 8,610 feet,
one of the most exquisite villages in the valleys of North
Sikkim. Withresplendent snow-capped mountains,dazzling waterfalls
and sparklingstreams. Enroute to Lachung you will
stop to visit the Phodong Monastery. The original monastery has
been rebuiltand is today one of the most beautifulmonasteries in
Sikkim. It possesses theold mural paintings and has around
260monks.. Arrive and proceed to yourhotel. Evening at leisure to
explore thisbeautiful Himalayan village on your
own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Lachung This morning visit to Yumthang Valley,situated
at an altitude of about 11,800ft. It is covered with
rhododendronshrubs and trees of various species. The
valley is well known for itshot springs,you will visit the Hot
Spring and SingbaRhododendron Sanctuary. Later visitLachung
Monastery. Evening is atleisure. Overnight at the hotel.Day 6 :
Lachung Pelling(230 kms / 8-9 hrs)
Today you will be transferred to Pelling.
A placid Pelling pulls most of the visitors for its
representative status inhistory, nature and culture of the
state.Situated at an altitude of 6,800 ft,famous for its
magnificent view of thesnow-capped mountains ofKhangchendzonga.
Arrive and proceedto your hotel, rest of the day is atleisure,

Day 7 : Pelling Darjeeling(125 kms/4-5 hrs)
Today you will visit Pemayangtsemonastery, situated on the back
drop ofthe Eastern Himalayas, built in 17th
Century AD, which houses severalreligious images and other
objects of
worship, most of which are preciousbecause of their ancientness.
Later you
will visit tranquil Khecheopalri Lake,surrounded by blooming
forest and isconsidered as one of the sacred lakes ofSikkim both by
the Buddhist and the
Hindus. Later Evening Proceed toDarjeeling known as Queen of
theHills and famous Darjeeling Tea, oneof the world's finest teas,
also a hometo the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway , a

Day 08 : DarjeelingEarly morning (0330 hrs) start for Tiger Hill
to witness a spectacularsunrise and its amazing effects on theMt.
Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rdhighest peak) on your return visitGhoom
Monastery and Batashia Loop,a War Memorial. Later this morning
proceed on a half day local sightseeing visit Padmaja N.
Zoological Garden(Closed on Thursday), HimalayanMountaineering
Institute (Closed on
Thursday), Tibetian Refugee Self-helpCenter (Closed on Sunday)
and visit tothe Mall and Local Market (Closed on
