Day one begins at The Valley Marketplace, Ohio’s only indoor Amish Market. There are over 30 vendors selling their products, including fresh baked breads, pies, cinnamon buns, fry pies, Philadelphia soft pretzel sandwiches, Middlefield homemade cheese and deli, Amish made furniture, genuine Amish restaurant, Amish whicker products, Amish gifts, fresh Butcher shop, fresh fruit and produce, and much more. Next visit the world-renowned Butler Institute of American Art, the country’s first museum dedicated to works created solely by American artists. Known as “America’s Museum”, the Butler is home to over 20,000 works covering all media. The docent-led tour will feature artistic treasures spanning a full three centuries. Constructed of Georgian marble, the original museum structure is considered an architectural masterpiece, and is listed as a landmark on the National Registry of Historic Places. Enjoy lunch at Das Dutch Haus in nearby Columbiana where your group will enjoy wonderful Pennsylvania Dutch-style home cooking. Your group can browse the restaurant gift shop and stop at their great bakery on the way out. Next, visit White House Fruit Farm in Canfield. Your group will enjoy all this fantastic Ohio Century Farm Market has to offer including fresh produce, deli, jams, honey, maple syrup, cheeses, homemade fudge and fresh bakery items including their famous blueberry donuts! We can arrange for your group to have a donut, cup of cider and bag of apples on the bus. Finally, end your day at Mastropietro Winery in Berlin Center. Your group can relax and enjoy wine tastings in their beautiful Tuscan style tasting room. Afterwards, check into one of our many group-friendly hotels. Day two begins in beautiful Mill Creek MetroParks strolling through lovely Fellows Riverside Gardens, a 12-acre public display garden. Your group can spend time in the Davis Visitor Center wandering through the gift shop, art gallery, and climbing the observation tower for spectacular views. Next, tour historic Lanterman’s Mill, a working gristmill constructed in 1846. Your group can leave with a souvenir bag of flour or corn meal. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Overture Restaurant, located adjacent to historic Powers Auditorium. After lunch, your group will tour “the finest theater ever built”, originally built by the Warner Brothers and opened in 1931. Following lunch, visit the Youngstown Historical Center (Steel Museum) for a unique look into the steel industry and how it shaped the Mahoning Valley. Get a feel for what it was like for the hard-working men and women that immigrated to the Youngstown area.

A trip to Youngstown is not complete without a taste of Handel's Ice Cream. A Youngstown tradition, Handel's has been rated "one of the 10 best places to stop for ice cream" by USA Today. Enjoy a delicious treat on the way home.

Grandparents – Grandchildren Getaway Spend some special time with the grandchildren! Start your day at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm. This 402-acre working farm offers a natural escape and recreational activities including a tractor and wagon ride and visit with the animals.

Following lunch, explore Lanterman's Mill and Covered Bridge, also part of beautiful Mill Creek MetroParks. Constructed in 1846, the mill has been completely restored and still operates today. Tour guides can also lead a hike along the gorge for your group.

Next, head over to Fellows Riverside Gardens, a beautiful 12-acre public display garden that you will enjoy exploring. The kids will have fun climbing the observation tower for a look out over Lake Glacier (or, if you prefer some down-time, head to your hotel and let the kids enjoy the pool before dinner).

Check into your hotel and get ready for dinner. Quaker Steak and Lube offers a kid-friendly menu, plus a fun atmosphere for the young at heart. Following dinner, it's off to Sports World Family Fun Center. Enjoy go-carts, batting cages, adventure golf and an arcade.

Day two begins at OH WOW! Children's Center for Science & Technology, an exciting, hands-on learning environment offering interactive exhibits that are both educational and fun. Kids and Grandparents alike will love the Hurricane Blast and the Steam and Erosion Table in the Weather Center, the Airplane Shooter in the Avionics section, and the Laser Guitar and Rhythm Machine in the Music area. There is much more to explore in this center. Following lunch, meet up with more animal friends at Wagon Trails Animal Park. You'll feel like you're on an African Safari as you ride the wagon to explore 60 acres of woods and ponds. You will also get to feed the animals as they come up to the wagon to say hello. Enjoy a delicious treat at Handel’s Ice Cream as you head for home, treasuring the special memories you've shared with your grandchildren.

Art, Wine & Roses Enjoy the finer things in life on this great trip to the Mahoning County!

Begin your day at the world-renowned Butler Institute of American Art. Docents will lead your group through this beautiful museum which houses a vast collection of the finest works of art created solely by American artists. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Overture Restaurant, located adjacent to historic Powers Auditorium. As an add-on to lunch, take a peek inside “the finest theater ever built”, originally built by the Warner Brothers and opened in 1931.
