Training-Workshop on Survey Team Leadership and Outcomes-Based Evaluation of Advanced Accredited Programs
(Level III and Level IV)
• Intended to further develop the Senior Accreditors’ competencies in leading Accreditation Survey Teams and in accrediting Advanced Accredited Programs (Level III and Level IV).
• Participation is by invitation only (identified and invited by
AACCUP) • No. of participants – 60 • Training is rigid – participants must fully participate in all
individual and group activities • Participants who successfully completed the training were given
Certificate of Completion and fielded as Accreditors qualified to lead and evaluate Advanced Accredited Programs
Outcomes-Based Quality Assurance
Training-Workshop for New Accreditors
• Must have an academic rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor
• Must have the qualification to evaluate programs in his/her field of specialization
• Preferably, a holder of a doctorate degree; or at least a master’s degree holder
• Preferably, computer literate
• Highly capable of making objective judgment
Can communicate effectively in written and oral English
Highly regarded by his/her peers in his/her field of specialization
A good team worker, and can relate effectively with others
Hardworking
In good physical and mental health
Willing to accept different field assignment
Nominees for the Training:
Nature of the Training
The training is rigid and participants must: attend in all sessions
be punctual in coming to the session hall
fully participate in individual and group activities
pass a series of examinations
Qualified participants who successfully finished the training were awarded a Certificate of Completion. Otherwise, they received only a Certificate of Participation.

Top scorers in the written examination were given a certificate of recognition and token. Trainees with outstanding ratings were given priority in assignment for survey visit.

• Means to empower SUCs to accredit their respective
programs and sustain the culture of quality in their
institution
• Aims to capacitate the IQA staff with knowledge and
skills that will enable them to “plan, organize, carry
out, monitor, and evaluate, and to transmit” to the
Administration and the Faculty the results of
internal and external accreditation
