The gentle tug, the slowing of his feetThe anxious plea to Wait, to look up high,

to touch, investigateA shiny stone, a colored piece of glass,

We stand enraptured, sharing, these memories last.

The world is new, this moment of pure blissThe tiny hand...the suns warm kiss.

I remember well, in years long past,Twas my small hand, cuddled in a warm hand clasp.

How trustingly, I walked where ere she chose.

Now, wondrous magic, I lead the way, his hand enclosed.
