Bethelwoods Camp offers a Christ-centered camping experience for kids of all ages. Staffis trained to help campers understand God’s message of love and grace and to provide positive Chris-tian role models. All children and youth are encouraged to participate in Bethelwoods summer pro-grams. If you have any questions about special situations, please call Jacquie Scoates 803-366-3722.At Bethelwoods we have three priorities. These are: keeping all children safe, teaching all aboutChrist and having fun in all we do. In order to accomplish this, all staff go though two weeks of inten-sive training on all aspects of our camp programs. All staff are background checked and all counseling

Worship is a fun and creative experience. Each day campers participate in morning watch, biblestudy, and evening worship with lively songs, skits and messages presented by some of the best wor-ship leaders the Carolinas have to offer.

Communication with campers is encouraged in the form of e-mails, letters and faxes from par-ents. Campers can send news home via stamped mail or by purchasing e-mail/fax sheets from thecamp store. Phone use is restricted to emergency use only and campers are asked to not bring cellphones.

Camp Store is available in the afternoon for extra snacks and merchandise. Camp Store moneycan be deposited into an account at check-in or with your online account. Any leftover money will begiven back to campers at the closing program.

Health Care is an important part of camp life. A health care manager or nurse is on staff. Insur-ance coverage is the responsibility of the camper’s family. While not required, we do recommend ahealth exam by a professional prior to coming to camp.
