Happiest moment of life I Bhagwati Meena, lost myself in the market. By chance, I was noticed by a teacher all alone, helpless and literally crying under a tree in that remote place. He politely asked me about my family and village. Since it was an evening time so he took me to his home where he offered me some food etc. Luckily 1098 Child Help line number clicked in Teacher’s mind and he immediately called up & informed the Child line team about myself. Team came, took me at Dungarpur Child Welfare Committee, where committees has advised to keep me in an Orphanage along with other children. Parallely, the team was working hard in searching my parents at the address earlier shared by me, but it was not correct. After a hard work of five days Child line team met a person who fortunately knew the address of my village Devla Gamdi. Immediately team reached at my village there they met with my parents and finally they handed over me to my parents. It was really a happiest moment for me & my parents.

With the help of spectacles, eye vision got improved and my quality of life has improved using the spectacles.

Started earning for family I am Manjoo Devi, age 35 years from village Gol of Aspur block, distt,. Dungarpur, Rajasthan. I got married very early at an age of 14 years. My husband is a migrant agriculture labourer, due to seasonal employment it was very difficult for us to meet out the routine expenses of the family including three kids. Under SHG Program supported by NABARD, I along with 11 other women met with BCT staff and thereafter formed and started a Laxminarayan Self Help Group with a saving of Rs. 50 per month. In 2010, I took a loan of Rs. 20,000/- from the group and started a tailoring shop in the village. Now I am earning an extra income of Rs. 1500 to Rs.2000/- per month, this made me financially more secured as I am not only raising my family but also I have increased my saving contribution from Rs. 50 to Rs. 100 per month in the group. My total savings in the group is Rs. 6,600.00/- and I am planning to avail another loan of Rs. 50,000/- for the construction a room for my son and also to expand the bangle business. Everyone in family are happy, kids are healthy and going

to school regularly. Recently group has decided to provide an interest free loan to all its members for the construction of a toilet unit in their home.
