Extremist Attack on Canadian Military Personnel in Quebec

On 2014 10 20 at approcimately 1130 hrs EST a single male drove his vehicleinto two uniformed members of the CanadIan Forces as they exited a caf in the town ofSt iean-sur-Richelieu, in the province of Quebec. One of the soldiers was critically injured;injuries to the second were reported to be minor. The driver fled the scene in his vehicle butcrashed approximately four kilometers away while being pursued by local police. He thenexited the car and was shot after threatening officers with a knife.
