Introduction
Our brand is our most valuable asset in visual communications. A consistent application of a cohesive identity is crucial to supporting the brand story. Our brand is an important tool, and when used correctly, it re-inforces the message.
This guide contains specifications, constraints and examples for maintaining a cohesive identity in all aspects of visual communications. Every employee and volunteer plays a part in ensuring that visuals produced in-house (or with an outside vendor) adhere to these standards.

Brand Visuals
The Brand VISION as indicated by “Plant Your Roots” represents Bible Hill’s recreational lifestyle with connected parks, open spaces and trail networks throughout the Village. The idea of planting also carries meaning with young families. The promise of growing and learning through the opportunities available throughout the Village.
This tagline references the MISSION and VALUES of Bible Hill through the idea of planting a seed. This is the first step in putting down roots and becoming a part of something bigger. In Bible Hill’s case, growing family neighbourhoods and creating community ties. The visual of planting roots gives the sense of building a home base while also having the ability to branch out and make connections. This tagline also nods to the value and importance of agriculture in the Bible Hill area.

Brand Visuals
The imagery in this logo is bold, modern and clever. The overall shape is loosely based on a piece of barley which symbolizes agriculture, while at the same time, one side of the “barley” is a set of houses which represents family, lifestyle and neighbourhoods. The other side is leaves which symbolizes recreational spaces, agriculture and ties back to the tagline of ‘planting your roots’.
