    BIRDS IN THE BIBLE

    Questions?????

Do Birds have any significance in the Bible?

During Genesis period when are Birds created?

Is there any thing that you can learn from them?

Does God take care of these Birds?

What are the different kinds of Birds that had been mentioned in the Bible?

Does Birds are always referred positively in the Bible?

Do Birds are used for any future things (Prophesy) to happen?

Whats the feeling you get when you look at Birds singing and dancing?Does Bat is a Bird? What does bible tells about it? Is there a controversy or a

    mistake in the bible?

Wright Brothers - Birds of a Feather

The Wright Brothers spent a great deal oftime observing birds in flight. Theynoticed that birds soared into the windand that the air flowing over the curvedsurface of their wings created lift. Birdschange the shape of their wings to turnand maneuver. They believed that theycould use this technique to obtain roll

control by warping, or changing theshape, of a portion of the wing.

    PARTICLE SWARM INTELLIGENCE

    Whydoes flockingoccur so much in

    nature?

    Energy savings: Geese in V

    formation have around a 70%

    greater range than in flying

    individually. Individuals can

    fly around 25% faster(why?).

As stated before, PSO simulates the behaviors of birdflocking. Suppose the following scenario: a group ofbirds are randomly searching food in an area. There isonly one piece of food in the area being searched. Allthe birds do not know where the food is. But they

know how far the food is in each iteration. So what'sthe best strategy to find the food? The effective one isto follow the bird which is nearest to the food.

PSO learned from the scenario and used it to solvethe optimization problems. In PSO, each single

solution is a "bird" in the search space. We call it"particle". All of particles have fitness values whichare evaluated by the fitness function to be optimized, and have velocities which direct the flying of theparticles. The particles fly through the problem spaceby following the current optimum particles.
