references on cultural practices , entomology , pathology , soils,
climatic conditions and tree species select ion.
References are listed by subject , using the Oxford Sys:em of
Decimal Classification for Forestry ,. and by author. Those pub.ica-
tions not available to the authors for review, but judg(�d to hdve a
direct bearing on the subject of shelterbelts , hc:ve been listed under
ODC 266. The bibliography lists references to 1969. A few more recent
publications (up to 1971) have been included.
