INTRODUCTION This bibliography lists reports arising from studies in Australia dealing with
laterite, silcrete, and related materials. It is intended to serve primarily as a guide to those works which have con
tributed to the knowledge of laterite, silcrete, and related materials here in Australia and therefore, while extensive, is in no way meant to comprise a complete listing of every work which has ever employed the terms.
A short list of unpublished reports whose distribution was limited is included, drawing primarily on detailed research, most of which has been summarized in subsequent publications.
