Required learning:
...
In consultation with the teacher, every student will choose a specific modern approach to New Testament
exegesis, read one book that is outlining the method, and two or three scholarly articles interacting
critically with it. In the classroom the student will present and evaluate the approach (30 minutes) and
lead the class discussion (15 minutes). The student has to turn in the bibliographic data of the book and
the articles. (ca. 40 h. of reading / research / writing)
Manner of Class Presentation:
The lecture method will be used in the classroom with ample room for discussion. At the end of the course, each
student will lecture for half an hour on an assigned subject and lead the discussion (15 Min) afterwards. The
teacher will give feedback.
