Introduction

Please complete this Bid Form in order to make a bid to purchase water allocations from the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office (CEWO). Bids can only be submitted between the Sale Open and Close Times. The Commonwealth may extend the Sale Close Time and will issue an addendum notifying any decision to extend on the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office website.

Prior to submitting this Bid Form, please ensure that you have carefully read the Guidelines dated , the Terms of Offer dated and any late amendments. Other useful information, including Frequently Asked Questions, is available on the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office Current Trade & Consultation website.

Any amendments made to these documents will be published on the CEWO's website.

The Authorised Person is the allocation account holder, or is a person authorised by the allocation account holder to act on their/itsbehalf, for example to complete and submit this bid.

The Department is the Department of the Environment.

If you are an authorised representative submitting a bid on behalf of the holder(s), you must submit with the Bid Form adequate documentation to evidence your authorisation.

Evidence of authority should be provided with each bid, irrespective of whether it has been provided previously (copies are okay). Evidence of authority can be uploaded in the ‘Declaration and submission’ section of this application.

If you submit a Bid Form as an authorised representative and do not include adequate documentation to evidence the identities of the allocation account holders or the authorisation, we may elect not to consider the bid any further. This could include a Letter of Authority signed by all account holders, a power of attorney, or a form of written authority which is acceptable to the relevant trade approval authority.
