Asia Pacific Leadership Program

• A nine-month program (Aug-May )with a five-month residency requirement, based at the East-West Center in Honolulu.

• Generation ten includes 35 participants from 20 countries, of which 6 are represented here in GIST.

CSR: Mitsubishi Electric• Clean-up Activities at a Forest Recreational Park (Brunei)• On December 12, 2009, the Ryoden Malaysia Sports Club's Brunei branch

held a clean-up campaign at Bukit Shahbandar Forest Recreational Park, in Brunei. The park covers over 70 hectares of undulating land with a network of well-maintained paths crisscrossing the area. The sports club members and their families took the initiative in this clean-up activity. All the garbage collected was then properly disposed of at the rubbish collection centre. Through such activities, Ryoden is doing its part to promote a clean environment for healthier living among employees, the community and the people of Brunei.

Observations and Suggestions

species, school (treasure hunt), animal tracks interpretation, birding, night jungle tour

• Native plant ID signs: Advantage and Disadvantages• Map and visual guide of scenic spots in each trail • Professional photographs• Trash collection and recycling initiative, composting• Facilities such as Café, rest area• Binoculars for rent• Minivet bird as a representative of romance story of

the park
