INITIAL ACTIVITY
Task 1: Create a Spanish Nametag: Have your calendar out to receive credit for
today’s homework.
Create a Spanish name nametag for yourself, (markers can be found at the front of the room in my art case), write your Spanish name prominently on the index card and fold it length-wise. Last name should be written very small underneath your Spanish name. Look at Mr. Vaughn’s example at the front of the room for help.

Shuffle the cards into two stacks- one Spanish and one English.
Take turns pulling up cards from each stack face up, a pair at at time.
If you or your partner sees a pair that matches. QUIETLY shout brinca and slap the pair.
