So, you’re eligible! Please follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Make a short film (between 1 and 2 minutes long) outlining your project. Include: o Project name o How much you are applying for o A description of the benefits the project would bring

Your audience will be the young people who vote online for their favourite projects so please do keep it short and sweet. Your film could be in any style as long as it serves to inform voters of what it is they would be voting for; it does not need to be fancy! If you need any help making your film please be in touch and we can arrange for a youth worker to come and make the film with you.

2. Upload your film to YouTube and send the link to

[email protected] along with 50 words (max) to describe the project. Let us know explicitly whether you are applying to the ‘small group’ or ‘large organisation’ pot. If you need any help with this please get in touch – we may be able to upload it for you. After voting is complete you are welcome to take your video down from YouTube.

3. By submitting a film and your 50 word outline you are confirming your eligibility, as

outlined overleaf. If, at a later stage, it is discovered that you are in fact ineligible then you may be required to return any/all funding. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility please call Adam on 07772 269761 or Claire on 07809 829734 or email [email protected]

4. Lastly, please join us on Saturday 26th April, 11am – 2pm at the 67 Centre,

Hodshrove Lane, Moulsecoomb for our market stall-style voting event. You will be contacted with further joining instructions in due course.

Your application will be acknowledged by email and you will be informed of when online voting will go live (open only to 13 – 19 year olds). Final voting will happen at the voting event (only 13 – 19s may vote but all may attend) where all votes (including online votes) will be tallied and the funding will be awarded. Successful projects will be asked to present their constitutions, child protection policies and latest accounts.

Deadline for submissions is strictly Monday 24th March at 12 noon

Thank you for being part of this radical process to offer young people the

chance to democratically commission their own services.
