RECOMMENDATIONS PROVIDED FOR PACKAGE & PRACTICES OF ZONE

1. Chemical control (spray of chlorothalonil @ 0.1%) of Ascochyta blight of gram.

2. Seed treatment of Bavistin @ 1.5 gm/kg seed for the control of root rot in chickpea.

3. Seed treatment of Subeej @ 2.5 gm/kg of seed for the control of wilt/root rot in chickpea.

4. Isolated and identified local Rhizobium strain (SGN-94) of gram for seed treatment.

5. Chemical control (spray of Topsin-M/ Bavistin @ 0.1%) of Cercospora leaf spot of mung.

6. Spray schedule of Dimecron/ Monocrotophos for the control of yellow mosaic of moong.

7. Chemical control (spray of Streptocycline-5 g+ Copper oxychloride-300 g in 100 lit of water) of bacterial blight of mung.

8. Spray initiation (15-20 days after sowing) and sowing time for YMV control of mung.

9.Spray schedule (Ist spray Foltaf @ 0.2% 50-60 DAS or second week of Dec.) for the control of white rust and alternaria blight of mustard.

10. Chemical ontrol of tikka (spray of Bavistin @ 0.1%) and collar rot (ST with Bavistin @ 2g/ kg seed) of groundnut.

11. Local strain of Trichoderma harzianum identified and recommended for commercial mass production in IPM Lab. (1999-2000).

12. Shelf–life (90-105 days at 25oc.) of Talc based formulation of T.harzianum was identified.( 2001-2002).

13. Best substrate (faecal pellets of goat & sheep, gram shell, FYM) for Trichoderma multiplication was identified. (2001-2002).

14. For integrated disease management of Phytophthora rot (Gummosis) of kinnow stem painting with metalaxyl (Ridomil –MZ 72 WP) @ 20 g/l of linseed oil in association with soil drenching with metalaxyl @ 25 gm/tree or Trichoderma harzianum @ 60 gm/ tree in 30-40 litre of water 2 times each during February and August at 15 DAS interval was recommended (2002-2003).

15. For the control of dry root rot of cotton seed treatment with Trichoderma harzianum @ 10 gm/ kg seed and soil application with Trichoderma harzianum @ 10 kg/ ha pre incubated in 200 kg of FYM for 10-15 days was recommended (2002-2003).

16. For the control of dry root rot of Chickpea seed treatment with Trichoderma harzianum @ 10 gm/ kg seed and soil application with Trichoderma harzianum @ 10 kg/ ha pre incubated in 200 kg of FYM for 10-15 days was recommended (2003-2004).

17. Recommended Kinnow + chickpea production system as most suitable for bearing and prebearing kinnow orchard in relation to pest and diseases (2004-2005).

23. For the control of citrus canker of kinnow two sprays of Streptocycline @ 100 mg (100ppm) in combination with Copper oxychloride @ 2gm/lit. of water or Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 0.2 per cent at 15 days was recommended (2005-2006).

24. For the control of stem rot of mustard seed treatment with mixture of Trichoderma hamatum and Trichoderma viride (1:1) @ 10 gm/ kg of seed followed by foliar spray of same bioagent combination @ 0.2 per cent at 50 DAS was recommendation (2006-2007).

25. For the control of Phytophthora lesions (gummosis) on kinnow tree trunk painting with 20 gm of Metalaxyl+Manccozeb (Ridomil MZ 72 WP) in 1 lit of liseed oil or with Pseudomonas fluroscens or Trichoderma harzianum @ 100 gm/lit of water followed by painting with linseed oil after 5 days was was recommended (2006-2007).

26. For the control of Tikka ,Termite,Heliothis and Spodopttera in Ground nut IPM module I was recommended. Component under this module were: summer ploughing, soil amendment with neem cake @ 500 kg/ ha, seed treatment with imidachlorpid @ 2 gm/ kg seed and Trichoderma harzianum @ 10 gm/kg seed foliar spray of NSKE @ 5 %, installation of Helicoverpa & Spodoptera lure @ 5/ ha and T shaped bird perches @ 10/ ha.( 2007-08 ).

27. To check pre harvest fruit dropping and post harvest fruit rotting in kinnow 3 sprays of Carbendazim @ 0.1 % or Propineb @ 0.2 % or locally isolated yeast bioagent Sporidiobolus pararoseus (KFY-1) @ 109 CFU/ml in association with Gibberlic acid @ 20 ppm during the

month of April, August and September and two alone during March and October were recommended (2009-10).
