Composting (aerob digestion)
• Part of the bio waste is not degradable under anaerobic conditions
• Hence the residue from anaerobic digestion (digestate) will be digested aerobically (composting)
• In order to compost, the digestate solids must be dehydrated.
• Compost and water from dehydration are used as organic fertilizers of high quality
