Statement of Interest: I have been fortunate in my professional life to have found NAEOP early in my career. The professional growth, service, recognition, and fellowship provided by NAEOP impressed me and became an important part of my personal and professional life. My life is different because of my membership in NAEOP and the educational opportunities it provides. Equally important are the people I have met, without this organization I would never have known, who have forever touched my life. I have been proud and excited to serve on the board as Southeast Area Director and Vice President and to be a part of an outstanding leadership team. I would like to continue to be a part of the team moving NAEOP forward and would like the opportunity to share and encourage others to be a part of NAEOP and to be of service to this association and its members.

Statement of Interest: I have been a personal advocate of professional growth of the educational office professional for many years. Over the past several years I have worked diligently to enhance my leadership skills, to provide service to my colleagues by providing trainings, I have developed a networking system that I have used extensively to share ideas and information, and I have assisted others to celebrate their achievements and recognize them for their accomplishments. By becoming a member of the NAEOP Executive Committee, I would continue to enhance those abilities and techniques and represent all NAEOP members to the best of my ability. In doing so, I would not only strive to assist others in reaching their potential, but would have a greater opportunity to share the vision of our NAEOP founders and continue my dedication to the educational office professional.

Statement of Interest: I have a strong belief that professional development is essential for all educational office professionals. Through professional development we can receive professional growth, leadership skills and confidence in ourselves to make us more valuable in our job. As the only national professional association we, as members, need to carry the message of the opportunities that are provided at annual conferences and institutes. My goals for the Central Area would be to work with and help provide professional development services; unify the area through team building; help recruit members; and be available whenever colleagues need support. Communication through email, newsletters, phone calls and personal appearances would be a top priority. The position of Central Area Director would be a challenging position, but focusing on the mail goals of communication, professional development, membership, networking and above all the friendships that will and have been made will be the reward.
