    BionisafamouspsychoanalysistinBritishHeisoIofthethinkersendpracticersof

    objectiverelationwiththestrongestinfllIenceinthelate20thcenturyHehasgreateffectonthe

    sofindividualpsychoanalysisandgrouppsychologywithuniquesightsonbothonesIntheareaofindividualpsychoanalysisBionnotofinheritedKleinsideaofprojective

    identificationbutalsoextendedanddeepenedit,anddevelopedit intoakindofunique

    containmentmodelwhichmadeitthefytheorytounderstandthenormalandmould

    developmentAccordingtoBinn,theseconceptsofobjectiverelationcouldbeusedingreater

    systemsthanindividualsuchasfamiliesgroupsandinstitutionsUsingKlein'sconceptof

    projectiveidentificationtoinvestigategroups,Biondiscoveredthephenomenaofpsychosis

    hiddenintbegrouplifeThereforehetookaftrmstepintheareaofgrouppsychology,endwent

    beyondtheworkofMcDougallandFreudinitIntheaofpsychopathology,Bioncauseda

    revolutionofhowanalysistsunderstandthepatientsintheconsultingroomsinamildwayIn

    Binn'sopinlolltherearcelementsofpsychosisandnon-psychosisinpersonalityThetasksof

    analysistsweretomakeconnectionswiththeelementsofnon-psychosisinsuffererspersonalities

    inordertogetintouchwiththeelementsofpsychosisBionstheoryofobject-relationships

    psychoanalysishaswidespreadinfluenceoRthetheoryendtherapeuticpracticeofobjectivc
