Treatment suggestion

1. The most important aspect of treatment is to put into context what is happening for the patient who is

suffering from chronic iron deficiency anaemia. Repeated iron infusions have helped very little with

iron reserves not being maintained, (Iron (2) even though she is supplementing iron.

2. There is a whole plethora of companion nutrients and conditions related to iron deficiency that have

not been adequately addressed. (Copper (7), Zinc (3), Magnesium (3) and Calcium (6) Until these are

addressed the patient will be unable to rebalance iron levels.

3. Thyroid is hypo functioning, main causation being stress, as seen by the cortisol levels (6) and high

RT3(7) level. Patient needs to relook at how she is processing her stress. Further thyroid is under functioning adding to the emotional symptoms, weight gain, lack of energy etc. Copper levels are too

high which also impedes iron from raising adequately. Does or did she use the copper T or

contraceptive previously? High copper levels are the cause of decreased iron. First aspect to treat

would be copper toxicity. This can take anything from 6 months to 2 years depending on the state of

her eliminatory organs.

4. Reduce all high copper foods, chocolate, lentils, almonds.

5. Filter water from copper pipes and support liver, kidneys and skin detox. Consider a course of colon

cleansing, ozone sauna.
