We have a large selection of specialised equipment, which is of the highest standard and is constantly maintained by our qual-ified staff. We also have an indoor and outdoor climbing walland 4 acres of land for camping.
Birr OEC offers dormitories which sleep up to 70 people comfortably– with separate leader/teacher rooms. A spacious kitchen/ din-ing room, movie room for residents and a separate staff roomwhich offers tea and coffee making facilities.
A lecture room with audio visual facilities and an ecology classroom.

Many courses/programmes can be adapted
to suit individual group requirements. The centre provides a field studyprogramme which includes aspecially designed course tocover the Ecology Section of the Leaving Certificate BiologyCourse and Junior Certificate Sci-ence. Many of the mandatoryEcology experiments are cov-ered.
