Once upon a time long long ago, there was a large jungle that was 500meters wide and 1000meters long.There were large trees and tiny plants. There were climbers and creepers that climbed the bigger trees.One day mummy lioness was in her den with her 3 cubs - Mambo, Jumbo and Gambo. The three cute cubswere drinking milk as everyday. Mummy lioness had 18 litres of milk everyday and the three cubs sharedtogether just right. All the cubs had same amount of milk. Now as mummy lioness was feeding her babies,there started a huge storm and rain with dark grouchy clouds covering the sky. Suddenly there was a biglightning and the three cubs closed their eyes in fright. When they opened their eyes, there were 6 hyenasin front of the den. The hyenas wanted to stay inside the den. The mummy lioness allowed the guest butwas afraid a bit.After sometime, the cubs and lioness were feeling sleepy and the hyenas were planning - "let us eat thebaby cubs - we like to eat their legs - we will be good and we will share their legs equally" ... However, themummy lioness woke up at the noise of their talking and heard everything. Afraid as she was, she woke upher kids and told the whole story. Then Mambo said - "Mommy, dont worry we will stay awake with you. Wewill take turns - there are 9 hours in the night and first turn is mine". Jumbo said, "I will take the next turn"and Gambo said, "ok mummy, last turn is mine".Very soon, the Jumbo and Gambo went to sleep and Mambo stayed up with Mommy.

Very soon, the Jumbo and Gambo went to sleep and Mambo stayed up with Mommy. The six hyenas were watching waited for Mummy and Mambo to fall asleep. At that time there was a squirrel that came inside the den and Mambo stiny creature with the tail now wet and tiny. The hyenas also looked at him and their 11 eyes followed the squirrel. Thsnack on the squirrel but the squirrel was just trying to make friends with Mambo. Slowly one of the hyenas moved toquietly, little by little to catch the squirrel. Suddenly Mambo saw the hyena and roared at it, the hyena stepped back upset and ran away. One of the hyenas followed it and the Mummy lion got angry and roared and all the hyenas folloJumbo and Gambo also woke up and ran after them to help the squirrel.

The hyenas decided to spread out and search each of the trees in the jungle and each hyena planned to search sameThe cubs found the squirrel in a hole in the ground and picked her up quietly and went back to the den. Their mummygoing out in the dark but they were happy to have a new friend.

The hyenas searched and searched all the trees but they could not find the squirrel.The next day the squirrel told every animal about the bravery of the cubs, the animals were very proud of the cubs anmummy lioness brought gifts for the cubs. There were 4000 gifts in all. The cubs and the squirrel shared the gifts andafter.
