Limited spaces for each activity, so book in quickly!! Community Care Services are Supported by Funding from the Commonwealth & Victorian Governments under the Home & Community Care Program. This program is proudly supported by the City of Casey. The Casey Kids Club is an Australian Government Funded Initiative based at Beaconhills Secondary College, Berwick in partnership with Blairlogie Living and Learning Inc. Activities enable participants to have fun while enjoying the company of others, experiencing new things and places. Excursion and Onsite – Casey Fields for a BBQ

Welcome to the January 2019 Teenage Holiday Program. Please join us in a welcome back BBQ at Casey Fields. Enjoy all the fun on offer at Casey Fields, including a BBQ lunch. Casey fields offers a climbing net and rope bridge, adventure hill and interactive art sculptures. Enjoy all the facilities on offer. Meet new friends, relax, socialise and enjoy group activities.

Thursday 3rd January, 2019Excursion - Melbourne Zoo

Come join us for a day at the famous Melbourne Zoo. Check out the Gorilla’s, Giraffes, Seals, Parrots, Zebra’s and the famous Meerkats. Bring along your lunch or money to buy lunch. Have a picnic on the lawn. As this is a very warm time in Melbourne please bring your hat, sunscreen.

Friday 4th January, 2019 Excursion – Movies

Meet up with friends and enjoy the latest Movie of your choice @ Reading Cinema’s, Dandenong. Do some searching and see what movies are showing. Have a think about the movies that you would like to choose. Bring money for popcorn, drink and ice cream.

The excursion to the Movies leaves at 10.00am. We will be returning to Beaconhills by 3.30pm BYO morning tea, lunch or money to buy lunch a drink and afternoon

Excursion – Tunza FunHow much fun can you have? Come along to Fountain Gate and enjoy the many activities that Tunza Fun has to offer, Mini Golf, Laser Tag, and Dodgem Cars and then proceed downstairs to have lunch at the food court.

Join the amazing Chef Monika for an exciting day – Time to learn some new skills. There will be a variety of fillings. Learn the advantages of how to make a healthy lunch. Enjoy basketball, bike riding and trampoline activities at Blairlogie in the afternoon.

Come join your friends at Science works. Science works is a popular science and technology museum that features modern interactive exhibitions, the Melbourne Planetarium and the Lightning Room.

Meet your friends at Beaconhills 10.00am depart to Science Works 4.30pm back to Beaconhills College to relax and discuss the day and

talk about future activities that you would like to see in the calendar BYO dinner, drink or money to buy dinner. Bring along a blanket to sit on.

Monday 14th January, 2019Excursion – MCG & Sports

Museum

What a great opportunity to tour the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the sports Museum. AFL legends, your favourite footy teams, cricket legends past and present, the Olympic games, Commonwealth games, the design of the MCG, games to play.

BYO morning tea, lunch & afternoon snack The excursion will be leaving Beaconhills at 9.00am The tour of the MCG will be booked for 11.00am We will be returning to Beaconhills at around 4.30pm Please note if we are running late our team will notify parents/carers BYO morning tea, lunch, drink and afternoon snack

Tuesday 15th January, 2019Excursion –

Gumbya World offers a fun day with water slides, surfing, swimming in the pools, rides, walking around seeing animals and birds – dingos, kangaroos, emu’s, parrots etc.

The excursion to Gumbuya World leaves at 9.30am. Please be early ready to go.

Excursion – A Maze n Things

Be surprised and astonished by our amazing world of illusions, puzzles, mazes and the famous Look Out! Slide. Get lost in our mirror maze and fly around Phillip Island on our boogie boards. It’s designed for all ages; we know you will be entertained beyond your expectations!

Day

Come along and compete against your friends and staff in games of basketball, cricket. This will be a packed day of fun activities for you to participate in. Wear your favourite basketball team colours. A BBQ lunch will be provided.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Blairlogie is moving towards an electronic process for people to express their interest in activities. By emailing the forms back, it saves time and the need to use a slower post office mail system. Also, due to recent changes in the delivery of mail, it takes longer for the mail to be received by us.

If you haven’t already registered for this program, registration forms will be sent out to you. These will need to be completed and sent back also by 5th December, 2018. People will only be booked into activities once registration forms are returned.

Once the expression of interest and registration forms are returned, a confirmation letter and will be sent to you.
