Dennis Charlie Ross Homegoing Celebration In Loving Memory Of Anthony Lawerence “Amp” Morrison Anthony Lawrence Morrison, affectionately known as “Amp” was born October 7, 1956 in Hoke County to William and Bettie Monroe Morrison. His mother, Bettie Morrison, preceded him in death in 2005. Anthony departed this life on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Anthony attended Hoke County Public Schools in Raeford, NC. Upon graduation, Anthony was employed by Fabergé in Raeford and was employed as a bus driver for Hoke County School System. Anthony worked various jobs and held various positions over the years. Anthony’s enjoyed fishing and fellowshipping in the yard with family and friends. If asked, “Uncle Amp, are you alright?” He would replay, “Uncle Amp is alright. I just need some sleep.” He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, William J. Morrison. Three brothers: William Lee Monroe (Brenda), Aaron “Peanut” and Larry “Slam” (Nikki) all of Raeford, NC. Three sis- ters: Willie Mae Farmer, Annie Morrison and Patricia Thorton (Der- rick) all of Raeford, NC. Aunts Annie Warren, Leolia Everrette, Flora Netcliff and Mary C. Monroe. A special niece, Sherea Morrison; a special cousin and friend, Barbara Warren “Barbara Jean” and Martin Evans, his ‘road dog’ from beginning to end and Alphonza Davis. On Thursday, September 27, 2012, he entered into his final resting place. He was born at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Shaw. Shea was raised in Fayetteville and never felt the need to venture far from home. He was educated in the Cumberland County School System. He was a very fun loving and caring person. Shea never met a stranger and made a new friend with anyone he came in contact with. It was his world to be around his grandma, the late Dorothy Mainor Ross and his grandpa, “Daddy”. One thing I believe we all know, Shea was a loving son, brother, cousin, nephew, Dad, friend and uncle. To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his mother, Nellie Shaw and stepfather, Walter Stevens. One daughter, Nakelya Pagan and two sisters: Nequita (Korbett) Ragas of Lakewood, WA and Jessica (Joel) Taylor of Fayetteville, NC. Two brothers: Jessie Edens of Raeford, NC and Matthew Stevens of Fayetteville, NC. Grandpa Mallie and Grandma Eunice Shaw. Grandpa Welton Ross, Aunts: Bernetta Monroe, Gloria Mainor, Juanita Stocks (Duke), Mable Jones, Tereascia Mainor (a second mom), Dorothy Braswell (Charles) Dimato Cooper (Marcus), Regina London, Juliana Sims (Norman), Kenita Marougas (Demitri), Tammy Ross and Gail Shaw. Uncles: William Mainor, John Mainor (Linda), Thomas Mainor (very special), Kenny Shaw, Stevie Shaw and Scottie Shaw (Gloria). Shea also leaves behind a host of loving cousins, and friends. Two cousins: Dorothy Leslie and Wykeisha Gray were like sisters and a very special friend of the family, Tawanna Nelson.
